The Beautiful South

The south is best experienced in the details: stone walls tracing the hills, traditional music drifting from a village pub, a quiet cove revealed around a bend and a welcome that feels completely natural. We leave room for those moments rather than turning the journey into a race.

Common questions

Comparing the tours

Still deciding? These are the questions guests ask most before booking.

Ireland’s Southern Gem. It covers the best-known Kerry and Cork landscapes without long transfers, and works well as a three or four day base from Killarney or Dingle.

Yes. The Southern Gem and The Wild West link naturally into one longer route up the Wild Atlantic Way, and the Legacy Trail can be added as a day within either.

For May to September we recommend three to six months. Shoulder-season dates are often available at shorter notice.

Your guide will reorder the day rather than cancel it. There is always an indoor stop, a sheltered walk or a different valley worth driving.
